Rio Madrid 5 - 4 Club Fut

Madrid may not have played like champions on Thursday but they did enough to secure another win and take another step towards a record 2 straight premier league titles.

The boys in red started well getting off to a 2 goal lead halfway through the first half when Left Back Byrne slotted home twice. Club Fut then pulled one back for the visitors through a scrappy effort from in front of the goal square.

Madrid were never behind in the match and went into halftime with a 3 -1 scoreline after a sweeping move lead to Greene slotting home from in front. Greene returned from his suspension after he sat out 3 weeks for not updating the website.

2 more goals followed for the red miners another for Greene and 1 for Young.

Byrne was named man of the match and when asked about game conditions today he said " the atmosphere was electric and we played well although players werent responding to my calls on the pitch, it was like I wasnt speaking English!"
