Rio Madrid 3 - 4 Zef Side

Lack of concentration kills off Madrid in Derby match.

In front of a sellout crowd in Subiaco the 2nd premier league game of the season saw Madrid face off against last seasons runner up Zef Side.

With some notable exclusions from the lineup that won comfortably last week namely Telfer, Young and Nicholas who were all serving one match bans for excessive drinking on the weekend.

Zef Side went up early in the match threw a Greene own goal and soon added another from distance. Madrid opened up there account Centre Back Ver Beek following a corner from Greene.

After the break Madrid tied the score through a close range effort from Greene which then followed another which made the score 3 - 2 in favour of the miners. It all went down hill from there after the defence slacked off and let in another 2 own goals.

Madrids failure to capitalise on opportunities in front of goal was the deciding factor as they far out-shot the opponent.

Join us next time for another addition until then enjoy your week.
